Emergency Medical Services
Emergency Medical Services (or Paramedic Service) is available to Central Butte and surrounding communities 24-hours a day, 365 days a year with a base location directly in the town of Central Butte. Each with a nationally recognized level of certification, these highly trained Primary Care Paramedics (PCP) can provide a critical service in both emergency and non-emergency situations.

Chinook Regional Library
We have large print books and talking books, as well as children’s programs, and a computer for public access. The library will no longer be open on Saturdays except for special occasions for the children.

Sarcan Recycling
The Central Butte SARCAN depot opened its doors to the community in May 1989, some 24 years ago. Since then the Central Butte depot has seen 12,223,647 customers go through its doors. Over the last year, Depot Supervisor Lorne Houseman and his staff have helped area residents recycle 744,839 containers – 61% of these returns were aluminum. Open weekdays 9-noon and 1:00-5:00

Central Butte Volunteer Fire Department
Local volunteers are trained and equipped with an Automated External Defibrillator, oxygen, selected medications and other items to respond in an emergency when an ambulance may be delayed or is not located in a community. First Responders are activated at the same time an ambulance is through 9-1-1 systems. Trained in emergency care for medical and trauma situations, these individuals bring immediate care to someone in need. There are First Responders located in and around the Central Butte area.

Iver Main Place Inc.
Located in the heart of Central Butte, Saskatchewan, Iver Main Place Inc. was established by the community, for the community and inspired by Dr. Iverson and Dr. Mainprize in 2005 to provide a safe and comfortable home for our aging loved ones.
Our level 1 & 2 care home is licensed up to 20 beds, with rooms for couples and single residents. We give our residents the help and support they need while maintaining their dignity.
